A Brief Note on “A two-day orientation program for newly elected representatives on local government operation and local development at Sudurpaschim Province”
A two day Gender Responsive Budget (GRB) ToT has been carried out successfully which took place in Dhangadhi Kailali from 30 December 2021 to 31st 2021. The objective of the training was to develop facilitator and resource person to conduct GESI audit and mainstreaming strategy in LGs. Altogether 27 Participants were invited from selected LGs and freelancer by covering nine districts. Out of 27 participants, 2 were male and 25 were female.
The PCGG Punna Doti has completed provincial level 3 days FRRAP interaction and orientation programme in Dhangadhi which was inaugurated by the Hon chief minister of Sudurpaschim province Mr Trilochan Bhatt, at the inauguration session MoFAGA undersecretary Mr Pralahad Karki also delivered the remarks on FRRAP that the session was chaired by PCGG ED Mr Padam Raj Joshi.
The PCGG Punna Doti has completed district level LISA orientation in all 9 districts of Sudurpaschim Province.
The main objective of the LISA orientation was to review the LISA status of last year of LGs in district., to share the role and responsibilities of DCC, LG, OCMCM, PCGG and MoFAGA and to interact/orient on 10 themes100 indicators of LISA and its portal.
The three days GRB and GESI related Training of Trainers (ToT) conducted from 11 November to 13 November at Hotel Temple Resort, Dhangadhi, and Kailali. Out of 30 participants, seven participants were female and 23 were male.
PCGG Sudurpaschim has been carried out two-days LISA orientation program in coordination with District Coordination Committees at following districts; Darchula, Kailali, Doti, Achham and Bajura. The total number of LGs has been covered 50 out of 88 in participation of LISA focal person, planning section officer and IT officer.
Two days “Capacity Building Training on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion” (two events) conducted from 15 November to 16 November 2021 at Rubus Hotel, Dhangadhi, and Kailali.
The training on information technology for the employees working in the Ministry of the province and agencies(Computer Officer and Operator) has been organized by the Provincial Center for Good Governance(PCGG), Sudurpashchim, Punna Doti from 29th Oct. to 2nd Nov. 2021. This program aims to strengthen, streamline and smooth service delivery under the Ministry level of Information Technology by conducting training on information technology in the Ministry of PG.
