Provincial Training Center, Province 1 under the project “Provincial and Local Government Support Programme” conducted 3-day Residential Training entitled "Capacity Development Training for IT officers of Local Government" in Itahari from 14 to 26 December, 2020.

GESI mainstreaming training at Ramdhuni Municipality, Sunsari is taking place on 13 - 14 poush, 2077 ( 28 - 29 December 2020) in the participation of local elected representatives and government staff. Altogether 14 men and 18 women participated in two days  training. Mayor, deputy mayor, ward chairperson, ward  level women and dalit members and staffs from different division participated.

First round of the Inter-governmental Coordination and Collaboration Workshop is organized by the Provincial Center for Good Governance (PCGG) of Bagmati Province has been started from Chitwon today.

Bagmati province has organized two days Gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) orientation to 12 GESI focal people (8 women 4 men) of provincial ministries and institutions. The orientation was organized for the officers of provincial ministries who were selected as a GESI focal person in their ministry/institutes.

PCGG of Province-2, conducted a 4-day ToT on "GESI, Gender Responsive Budgeting and GESI Audit" with aim to develop local resource persons to be mobilized for GESI mainstreaming and GESI Audit in LGs. A total of 27 participants from all eight districts of the province-2 took part in the ToT where; the number of female and male was 12 and 15 respectively.

With the aim to implement the vision of the constitution to promote equality, prosperity and social justice; and commitment made by the state at international level regarding gender equality and social inclusion - in coordination with the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens -Gender Focal Person have been designated at different ministries, divisions and offices in Province 1.
